When each result is published, and why one is sometimes late

By Satta Mitra Results Desk ·

Each market has a usual declaration time. The card on the home page shows that time, a live countdown to it, and then the published value once it arrives.

Usual times (IST)

  • Desawar — around 05:00 AM, the first of the day.
  • Delhi Bazar — around 03:00 PM.
  • Shri Ganesh — around 04:30 PM.
  • Faridabad — around 06:00 PM.
  • Ghaziabad — around 09:30 PM.
  • Gali — around 11:30 PM, the last of the day.

“Expected” is an estimate, not a promise

The time on a card is the market's usual time, not a schedule this site controls. We publish when a result is actually declared and confirmed. A result commonly appears a few minutes after its usual time and sometimes considerably later.

Why a result can be late here

  • The declaration itself was late. Nothing can be published before a market declares.
  • Only one source has it so far. A value waits until a second independent source agrees.
  • The sources disagree. Conflicting numbers are never published automatically; an editor settles them.

If a card still shows a dash long after its usual time, one of those three is the reason. The previous result stays visible on the card meanwhile, with its own date, so it is never mistaken for today's.

The day changes at 5 AM

Because Gali is declared close to midnight, the site's day runs from 5 AM to 5 AM rather than midnight to midnight. Between midnight and 5 AM you still see the previous day's board, with the late-night results on it, which is how these results are usually read.
